Grizzly Lake is a great place offering fun activities
for campers at Grizzly Ranch. The lake is fed by Grizzly
Creek and is about an acre and a half in size. It is
kept stocked with Rainbow Trout for fishing fun and
a special kind of ride-on kayak is the boat of choice
for fun and safety.
Campers can keep one fish they catch. They are taught
how to clean the fish (if they want!) and then it is
frozen to take home. Any others are released back into
the lake.
All activities on the lake are supervised by camp staff.
A certified lifeguard is on duty when campers are using
the kayaks. Campers are taught how to use the kayaks
and how to put on and use the required lifejackets.
